How does auto-close detection work?
Last updated: May 23, 2025
The auto-close feature automatically marks tasks as complete when it detects resolution language in messages. This helps keep your task list current without manual intervention.
What triggers auto-close?
The system looks for two types of signals:
Resolution language (e.g., "that worked", "it's fixed", "looks good")
Acknowledgment messages (e.g., "thank you", "thanks")
Important considerations
Auto-close monitors messages from both team members and customers
The detection uses AI to understand context, rather than just matching specific phrases
Tasks can always be reopened if accidentally closed
Tip: If you're concerned about accidental closures, you can monitor the behavior for a few days and adjust your workflow as needed. The feature can be toggled off in settings if it doesn't match your team's needs.
