SAMPLE DATA
The sample data file describes each sample’s metadata. sample_id must be the first column, start with a letter, and contain only alphanumeric characters and underscores.

Glossary of terms
Term | Definition |
ASAM | Acronym which stands for Advanced Screening and Monitoring. This is the name that our partners at Dow Jones use to market the Screening product. |
Assessment | An assessment is a one-time screening of an entity against risk data in the system. |
Entity of Interest (EOI) | An EOI is an entity which has been extracted from unstructured news documents where risk has been found. |
Risk Profile | This is a collection of risk information relating to a particular entity in Screening that is automatically generated by the system showing any risk against the entity. Entities can be people, organisations, airplanes or vessels. The profile can consist of a mixture of watchlist (structured data) and news articles (unstructured data) that have been determined to refer to the same entity, together with the information that we have extracted about that entity (for example name, DoB etc). |
Risk document or article | Unstructured content which has been ingested into the Screening product and processed to extract risk and entity information in order to contribute to the creation of risk profiles. All risk documents in the system must pass through a classification stage to determine first whether the document is considered risky according to Ripjar's set of risk classifiers. |
Zephyr | Covername for the latest version of Ripjar's Screening software which is a multi-tenanted SaaS capability. |
Graphite | Covername for Ripjar's legacy single customer SaaS or on-premise version of Screening. |
