What is Pylon's password policy?

Pylon uses secure, passwordless authentication methods for both dashboard and portal / knowledge base access. This approach eliminates the need for a separate password policy while maintaining high security standards.

Logging into the Pylon Dashboard

Vendors (support agents) authenticate to Pylon using Slack Single Sign-On (SSO). This means:

• No separate Pylon password is required

• Your organization's existing Slack password policy applies

• All security measures implemented in your Slack workspace (such as two-factor authentication) are automatically enforced for Pylon access

Logging into the Customer Portal or Knowledge Base

For customers accessing the Pylon Customer Portal or Knowledge Base:

• No permanent password is set or stored
