Where is the Issue Activity Log in the new Pylon view?
Last updated: February 24, 2026
You can still view the Activity Log
In the redesigned issue view, the Activity log (status changes, snoozes, assignments, and other issue history) is no longer always visible in the right panel. It's still available in two ways:
1. From the "..." menu
Open an issue so the issue sidebar is visible.
In the top area of the sidebar, click the ... (More actions) menu.
Select Activity log.
The activity log panel will open in the sidebar. Select it again from the menu to close it.
2. Keyboard shortcut
With the issue sidebar focused, press L to toggle the Activity log open or closed.
Customize the Issue Sidebar (including Activity Log)
Admins can control which modules appear in the issue sidebar and in what order. To customize:
Go to Settings (gear icon).
Under the Issues section, open Issue Sidebar.
On the Configuration tab, use the Modules list to:
Show or hide the Activity log — use the visibility toggle next to "Activity log" so the module is on or off for your workspace.
Reorder modules — drag modules to change the order in which they appear in the sidebar.
Save your changes.
If the Activity log module is hidden in Issue Sidebar settings, it won't appear in the sidebar until an admin turns it back on. The "..." menu and L shortcut still open the Activity log when the module is enabled.
What appears in the Activity log
The Activity log shows a timeline of events for that issue, such as:
Status changes
Snoozes and unsnoozes
Assignment and team changes
Other updates (e.g. priority, tags) depending on your workspace
If you don't see the "..." menu or the Activity log option, confirm you're in the new issue view (redesign). If the Activity log module is missing entirely, an admin may need to enable it under Settings → Issue Sidebar → Configuration. If you need help, contact support.
