My customer doesn't have a paid slack workspace

If your customer doesn't have a paid slack account, they won't be able to join a Slack Connect channel with you. You have a couple of options:

1. Communicate with them over another platform. Oftentimes they'll be using Microsoft Teams internally and you can use our Teams integration to connect with them. Other times, they're old school and prefer email so our email integration makes the most sense.

2. Invite them as a single channel guest. Instead, you can invite them as a single channel guest. The implication here is they will login to your workspace and won't get the benefits of a shared Slack channels where the channel appears in their workspace. Once you link this channel into Pylon as a customer channel they'll be able to add issues as normal.
