Does using Claude, Devin, or Cursor through Pylon count toward spend?

Short answer
Yes. If your team invokes Claude, Devin, Cursor, or a similar connected tool from inside Pylon, usage may still count toward that tool’s own usage or spend. Pylon makes those tools easier to access from your support workflow, but it does not necessarily replace the billing or usage model of the external tool you are invoking.
Details
Think of it like using Claude, Devin, or Cursor where you already would have used them — but without having to leave Pylon to do it.
Pylon provides the workflow layer. You can ask the AI Agent or Assist Agent to use connected tools directly from Pylon.
The external tool still performs the work. When Claude, Devin, Cursor, or another connected service is invoked, that service may count the usage according to its own billing, credits, or spend rules.
This is expected. The benefit is convenience and context: Pylon can bring the right support issue, account, customer, or workspace context into the same workflow where the connected tool is used.
For example, if you would normally open Claude or Devin separately to analyze something, invoking it through Pylon lets you stay in the Pylon workflow while still using that connected service.
