How can I link Microsoft Teams channels to Pylon?

Last updated: January 13, 2026

  1. Ensure that you have completed the prerequisite steps described in https://support.usepylon.com/articles/5164888645-getting-started-with-pylon-microsoft-teams-integration (installing the Teams integration, and creating Teams channels as needed).

  2. Navigate to https://app.usepylon.com/accounts/add, and select "Microsoft Teams channels" or "Microsoft Teams group chats" as a source.

  3. Choose what kind of account you want (Customer, Community, etc.)

  4. Select the channels you want to link to Pylon (Teams channel names are displayed like "Team Name > Channel Name" for clarity)

  5. Proceed to the "Edit and Review" step to make any changes needed (Account name, owner, tags, etc.)

  6. Finally, select "Save X accounts" to complete the account creation process.

If you'd like to configure Slack mirroring for a Teams channel, see📄 How can I set up Microsoft Teams <> Slack mirroring? - mirroring is now optional, so you can choose to use a Teams channel with Pylon without configuring a Slack mirror channel.
