How to tag Slack User Groups in Pylon

Pylon supports tagging Slack User Groups in internal threads, letting you notify specific teams or subject matter experts. Type @ followed by the group name and it will appear in autocomplete suggestions.

Note: @channel and @here are Slack broadcast mentions and are not available in the Pylon composer. Only named User Groups (e.g. @oncall, @support) are supported.

Updating Slack Integration Permissions

If User Groups aren't appearing, your Slack integration may need updated permissions:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack

  2. Click Reauthorize and follow the prompts

After reauthorizing, User Groups will sync within 24 hours. If they still don't appear after that window, contact support.
