How to Re-authorize the Slack integration

Applies to: Slack integrations that show a reauthorization prompt in Pylon.

To re-authorize the Slack integration, open the Slack integration in Pylon and click Reauthorize. The person completing the Slack approval step must be signed in to Slack as a Slack workspace Admin.

  1. Open Apps Directory in Pylon.
  2. Open the Slack integration.
  3. Click Reauthorize.
  4. Complete the Slack approval flow while signed in as a Slack workspace Admin.

If the person who can manage apps in Pylon is not also a Slack workspace Admin, a Slack workspace Admin must complete the Slack authorization step on their own Slack login. If Slack shows an administrative permissions prompt, that is a Slack-side requirement for the reauthorization flow.
