Last updated: July 23, 2025
This article helps you to create a new Pylon instance and describes what you have to do to make it work.
Create a new slack workspace
Reach out to the Pylon team, requesting a new instance for the new Slack workspace
You will receive an invite to join a new shared slack channel: Accept this invite from your new workspace.
The Pylon team will ping you once the set up is completed.
You can now log into your new Pylon instance using the new Slack workspace.
You should do the following things once you have access to your new instance. This is a completely new instance, so there won't be any old tickets, any integrations or automations.
Rebuild your setup from your old instance (Triggers, SLAs, Integrations, etc.)
Make sure to cut integrations in the old instance before trying to connect in the new one
Create new shared slack channels with all your customers and add Pylon to it.
This will automatically populate the account and associate it with the right slack channel in Pylon. You can also add accounts through the Pylon interface.
Hook up all other sources such as email etc.
