How to automatically show all issues in customer portal?

You can use triggers to automatically make issues visible in the Customer Portal, either for all customers or specific accounts.

By default, only tickets are visible in the customer portal, not all conversations.

Setting up the Trigger

To automatically set all issues from a customer as visible in the customer portal:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Triggers

  2. Create a new trigger

  3. Select the "Make issues from customer default visible in customer portal" recipe

  4. Change the condition(s) for when you want issues to be visible:

    • For all tickets: Select "Ticket is created" as the condition

    • For specific accounts: Add an additional condition for "Account equals [specific account]"

  5. Add the action "Set Show in Portal to True"
