What permissions should my PagerDuty API key have?

You will need to generate a Pagerduty API Key.

When creating an API key for Pagerduty, we recommend making a general access token instead of a user token in the event the token maker leaves the company.

You will also need to leave Read-only API Key unchecked since the token will need write access to create alerts.
