Delete options from the Question Type field

Applies to: the standard Question Type issue field.

You can remove built-in and custom Question Type options from the field editor. Open Settings → Issue Data → Fields, select Question Type, then use Remove on the option you want to delete.

1. Open Settings → Issue Data → Fields.
2. Select Question Type.
3. In the options list, choose Remove for the option you no longer want.
4. Save the field.

At least one Question Type option must remain before you can save the field.

If you rename an option instead of deleting it, review the option slug separately. Changing the label does not automatically change the slug.
