This Anti-Spam Policy ("Policy") outlines prohibited activities and establishes clear guidelines for the responsible use of Pylon's services across all integrated messaging platforms including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, email, in-app chat, and ticket forms.

2. Prohibited Activities

2.1 Unsolicited Messages

Customers are strictly prohibited from using the Pylon platform to send unsolicited messages, including but not limited to:

  • Bulk messaging to recipients who have not explicitly opted in to receive communications

  • Cold outreach through any messaging channel integrated with Pylon without prior consent

  • Promotional content sent to users who have not requested such communications

  • Commercial solicitations to individuals or entities without established business relationships or explicit consent

  • Mass messaging campaigns that violate platform-specific anti-spam policies

2.2 Impersonation

Customers are prohibited from:

  • Impersonating Pylon or any of its employees, representatives, or affiliates

  • Falsely representing themselves as acting on behalf of Pylon

  • Using Pylon branding, logos, or identity without explicit written authorization

  • Creating misleading sender information that suggests affiliation with Pylon

2.3 Unauthorized Advertising

Customers may not:

  • Advertise Pylon's services through unsolicited messages on any platform

  • Promote Pylon using spam tactics, bulk messaging, or other prohibited methods

  • Reference Pylon in unauthorized marketing communications

  • Distribute promotional materials about Pylon without prior written consent

3. Acceptable Use Standards

3.1 Consent Requirements

All messages sent through Pylon must:

  • Have explicit consent from recipients

  • Include clear identification of the sender

  • Provide easy opt-out mechanisms where applicable

  • Comply with applicable laws including CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, and other relevant regulations

3.2 Content Standards

Messages must:

  • Be relevant and appropriate for the intended audience

  • Not contain misleading or deceptive content

  • Respect the terms of service of integrated platforms

  • Maintain professional standards appropriate for B2B communications

4. Compliance and Monitoring

Pylon reserves the right to:

5. Enforcement and Consequences

Upon detection or report of policy violations, Pylon may:

5.2 Immediate Suspension

Pylon reserves the right to immediately suspend accounts that:

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Due Diligence

Customers must:

  • Maintain accurate contact lists with verified consent

  • Regularly review and update their messaging practices

  • Train their teams on anti-spam compliance

  • Implement appropriate internal controls

6.2 Compliance Obligations

Customers are responsible for:

  • Understanding and complying with all applicable laws

  • Respecting the policies of integrated platforms

  • Monitoring their own messaging activities

  • Promptly addressing any compliance issues

7. Legal Compliance

This policy supports compliance with:

  • CAN-SPAM Act (United States)

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

  • Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)

  • Platform-specific terms of service for integrated messaging services

  • Other applicable local and international regulations

8. Definitions

  • Customer: Any individual or entity using Pylon's services under a service agreement
